Shhhhh...do you hear that? Me neither! My house is totally and completely quiet (save the little click click click of typing keys.) It has literally been YEARS since I've had a steady afternoon 'naptime' that I could count on for a little mommy time. Impetuous Kate promptly quit napping at the tender age of 2, despite my attempts to prolong it (or even amend it into 'quiet time.') But, today Chad and Kate are off having a Daddy/Daughter adventure of some kind, BabyDoo is asleep, Dal is at school, and I'm all alone wondering what to do with myself.
Don't get my wrong...on my 'should do' list are two loads of laundry that need folding, a toy room that needs sprucing, bathrooms that could use a good cleaning, and dishes in the sink. But, if you know me at all, you probably know that what I'd RATHER do is curl up on the couch with some Easter candy pilfered from 'the Bunny's' hiding spot and a good book.
Yes.
I think that is exactly what I'll do.
And, if YOU are in such a lucky situation as to have a free afternoon, and would like some new LDS-authored book recommendations, you might check out this post on Segullah today.
Goodbye!

Ah....I had a silent house for a while today, too! I hope you enjoyed a good read!
Glad I'm not the only one with open bags of Easter candy in the hiding spot! :) Just leaves less we'll have to steal from their baskets, right?
Hope you enjoyed every candy-filled minute of it!
I cracked open a bag of Easter candy right before I read this post. haha
Soak up all of the quiet time you can get, you deserve it. You are cooking a baby after all.
Wonderful! Enjoy your book and the quiet. You deserve it!
